Fostering research careers
One of nanoGUNE’s main commitments is to foster high-level training. Hence, we offer a complete PhD program to students who wish to start a research career in a nanoscience-related field at a top international research institution. Moreover, we also offer internship opportunities for undergraduates, as well as the posibility to do the bachelor or master final degree projects within any of our research groups.
Relevant academic backgrounds for our Research Groups include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Materials Science, and Engineering.
We aim at promoting a young, international, and multidisciplinary research environment where basic and applied research projects are pursued.
PHD
NanoGUNE offers a complete PhD program to graduate students from all around the world who wish to start a research career in a nanoscience-related field at a top international research institution
Master
NanoGUNE colaborates with various official master programs and offers the students the possibility to develop their master thesis in one of its various research groups. A call for grants is launched every year.
Bachelor Final Projects
Students interested in having a first research experience at a nanoscience laboratory are welcome to contact us.
Summer Internships
NanoGUNE offers summer internship grants every year.
nanoGUNE Winter School 2024
The nanoGUNE Winter School 2024 will be held in the nanoGUNE facilities in San Sebastian (Spain), from Wednesday 31 January to Friday 2 February 2024.
Application period will close 19 November.
