2nd nanoIKER Workshop
The 2nd nanoIKER Workshop took place at Tecnalia Headquarters in the Science & Technology Park of Bizkaia on June 10, 2013.
This workshop was organized within the framework of the Etortek nanoIKER Project funded by the Department of Industry, Innovation, Trade, and Tourism of the Basque Government.
NanoGUNE is the leader of the nanoIKER project, the main project developed by the Basque Government to promote collaborative research in the fields of nanoscience and nanotechnology, and it continues the trend started more than ten years ago with the projects nanotron and nanomaterials. The University of the Basque Country, the Center of Material Physics (CSIC-UPV/EHU), Cidetec, Tecnalia, DIPC, Tekniker and Ceit are also members of the project.
This second workshop provided opportunities for interaction and exchange of ideas amongst the nanoIKER community. Interaction been one of its main objectives. Interaction and training, and that is why the young researchers played an important role in all the workshop explaining the work they are currently doing within the nanoIKER strategic research areas.
CIC Energigune and CIC Microgune also participated in this workshop with two invited talks.
