Continuing with the Quantum breakfast and friends seminar series, this time we receive Divya Jyoti from the Quantum Phenomena on Surfaces group (CFM) with her talk entitled "Self-consistent calculations of in-gap states induced by magnetic impurities on a superconductor".
Divya Jyoti, Quantum Phenomena on Surfaces (CFM).
Then, we will have breakfast from 10:40 to 11 am.

The second talk will be at 11 am and the speaker will be the DIPC visitor Gabriel Cwilich from the Yeshiva University, New York, USA. His talk is entitled: "Models of random deposition (RSA), jamming and all that."   Gabriel Cwilich, Yeshiva University, NY

Therefore, the agenda is as follows:

10:00 to 10:40: " Self-consistent calculations of in-gap states induced by magnetic impurities on a superconductor ", Divya Jyoti,  Quantum phenomenona on surfaces group (CFM). 10:40 to 11:00:   Coffee Break 11:00 to 11:40: " Models of random deposition (RSA), jamming and all that.",  Gabriel Cwilich, Yeshiva University, New York, USA and visitor DIPC. We intend these talks to be educational in a distended atmosphere. They are a good opportunity to gain insight in quantum technologies, as well as to bring together the local community.

We are always searching for speakers for such educational talks. If you would like to take part, please, send an email to Miguel Varga <miguel.varga@ehu.eus>.
