Presentation of the nanoBasque Strategy
On December 3, the nanoBasque Strategy was presented to the public in a ceremony chaired by the President of the Basque Government, Juan José Ibarretxe, and the Major of the Provincial Council of Gipuzkoa, Markel Olano.
The nanoBasque Ceremony programme included talks by Pedro M. Etxenike, President of DIPC and nanoGUNE, and Jean Charles Guibert, Director of Minatec (Grenoble, France). The nanoBasque Strategy was presented by Mauri Lazkano, Director of SPRI. The Ceremony was closed by the Minister of Industry, Trade of Tourism of the Basque Government, Ana Agirre.
The nanoBasque Strategy is an initiative designed by the Department of Industry, Trade and Tourism of the Basque Government that aims to promote nanoscience, micro and nanotechnology to the Basque industry and to foster the creation of new business opportunities enabled by nanotechnology.
