Open Doors Event at nanoGUNE

Come to visit nanoGUNE next 20 February, Monday, at 16:30!

NanoGUNE the Basque nanoscience and nanotechnology interdisciplinary center is organizing an open doors event next20 February 2012 at 16:30for undergraduate students.Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Engineering students in the last courses of their respective degrees(3^rdand 4^thof in the case of the new degrees, 4^thand 5^thin old degrees) are invited to register and to visit our facilities in order to have a direct experience of our daily activity.

Apart from a guided visit to the laboratories, the event will include a presentation about nanoGUNE’s offer to undergraduate and graduate students:

• Summer Internships: Students in the last courses of their degree can join our research groups during summer time in order to get the flavor of research work at nanoGUNE.

• Master Projects: NanoGUNE offers the opportunity to master students to do their master thesis in research activities that might be continued in a PhD project.

• PhD Projects: All nanoGUNE Research Groups open regularly PhD positions related to their research interests and to explore novel interesting ideas. A PhD Thesis can be performed not only as the starting point of a scientific career, but also as an excellent way to train the professionals that will transfer the latest nanoscience and nanotechnology developments to industry.
