Research Engineer 

 

position is available from July 2018. This position will be dedicated to the design, programming and testing of a novel mobile testing platform. We are looking for a highly motivated applicant who will explore innovative ideas, and apply algorithms and data processing techniques to improve the performance of a novel testing platform. Familiarity with programing is required. The ideal candidate would have relevant hands-on experience in java programming, XML syntax, as well as mobile application development.

 

For consideration, the candidate is expected to have a relevant engineering, informatics or science degree. An advanced degree, such as a Master in a relevant field, can be an advantage, but is not mandatory. Recent graduates are encouraged to apply. The candidate will work in a highly interdisciplinary research project, has to have excellent organizational skills and excel at being a team player. The working language at nanoGUNE is English.
